The eMist electrostatic sprayer is the perfect delivery system for Pūrkil Bio™ and is versatile enough to be used for all clinic disinfection protocols. The 75 micron particle size produced by the EPIX360 allows the Pūrkil Bio Disinfectant to keep working on surfaces for greater than 10 minutes
notes: The eMist Electrostatic Sprayer, produces 75 micron particles that are positively charged giving them a strong attraction to attach to surfaces, wrapping around to the back-sides of objects. The particles also do not attract to each other so they attach to surfaces with very even distribution, saving on application time and disinfectant costs. The eMist does not treat air, only surfaces.
In contrast, our Clinic Fogger produces 10 - 40 micron aerosolized particles that form a mist suspended in the air, left to drift and settle. Foggers are for treating air and surfaces but do not have the benefit of the electrostatic charge on droplets.
Both solutions have been utilized in Health Care for many years.
Clinics may elect to implement different protocols to reflect current environmental conditions. The following protocols are suggestions on how to use foggers andn/or electrostatic sprayers in your practice. If using both fogging and electrostatic spray, the spray would be used between patients.

Complete fogging prior to opening, mid-day, and at closing
